About this Role:
- We are a remote team with core leadership in Colorado/New York/California.
- Or, move to Aspen and base yourself here with the founder nearly FT in one of the most inspiring places in America.

- The ideal candidate is a senior engineer with deep technical expertise and strong product intuition, who has worked at a top-tier tech company and is looking for the opportunity to step into a Technical Lead / CTO role.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the technical vision and execution—drive the strategy, architecture, and scalability of Partytrick’s platform.
- Hire and manage an engineering team, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Balance product and technical priorities, ensuring rapid iteration without sacrificing long-term scalability.
- Oversee our technology stack, API integrations, and infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) to align technical decisions with business goals.
- You should be comfortable working in the codebase, directing the product, and steering the high-level technical strategy.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, leveraging new tools and frameworks to enhance our platform.

- An experienced technical leader with a track record of building and scaling SaaS or marketplace products.
- Someone who loves to build from scratch—willing to code, architect, and optimize while also thinking strategically. You are tactical and pragmatic.
- Data-driven first-principles thinker with a knack for getting to the heart of a goal.
- A future CTO in the making—you aspire to lead a team and scale a high-growth product.
- Gritty, curious, and aligned with our vision—you thrive in fast-moving environments and are passionate about creating intuitive, scalable technology.

What You Bring
- A product-first mindset—you make decisions that balance user needs and business growth.
- An eye for cutting down requirements to the most impactful, weighing business impact, complexity, and team skillset availability to most effectively prioritize work.
- Expertise with data architecture.
- 5-10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, ideally at a B2B SaaS, marketplace, or consumer tech company.
- Strong experience with API integrations, cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or similar), and platform scalability.
- Experience leading or overseeing the build-out of a mobile app.
- Experience working with marketing platforms (SMS, push, email, affiliates, banners, etc.).
- A track record of hiring and mentoring engineers—you know how to build a high-performing team.
- Deep technical expertise in a modern tech stack (we currently use GCP; experience with similar stacks is welcome).
- A strong sense of ownership—you take initiative and are comfortable in a high-autonomy role but also a team player. EXTREME ownership.
Compensation Range:
- $150k-250k
- + opportunity for meaningful equity
