Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Remote

Type: Full-time

This will be a full-time, fully remote, exempt position.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technical Product Manager to own and drive the evolution of our product. You will work closely with our ~5-person engineering team day to day, advising on scope and tradeoffs, unblocking priorities, and translating between technical execution and business goals, while serving as the primary liaison between engineering and leadership (our CEO and Chief of Staff). In this role, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining a clear product roadmap, translating business objectives and customer insights into actionable plans, and partnering closely with engineering and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. This position requires strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and excellent communication skills.

This is NOT a role for someone who wants to be hands-off. This role requires strong working knowledge of software development, and ability to jump in and give a hand to the engineering team when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define, own and maintain the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
  • Translate business goals and customer needs into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering to scope features, refine requirements, and ensure predictable and high-quality delivery.
  • Advise engineering on technical tradeoffs and sequencing day-to-day, and represent engineering’s priorities, risks, and capacity constraints clearly to the Partytrick CEO and Chief of Staff.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, internal teams, and leadership to inform product decisions and ensure feedback loops are effectively put in place to inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Produce clear, detailed documentation (e.g., PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) that minimize ambiguity.
  • Apply a structured prioritization framework to balance impact, effort, and dependencies across initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into timelines, milestones, and risks.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze product performance across key metrics, synthesizing data and qualitative feedback to propose strategic areas for product investment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of work experience
  • Deep understanding of and ability to code in Javascript
  • Familiar with and experience using various frontend and backend development tools
  • Proven experience at a fast, high-growth startup in a PM role
  • Passion for event planning and experiential services
  • Experience directly supporting or embedded with a small engineering team
  • Technical/CS background required given the hands-on nature of this role
  • B2B SaaS product experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of Linear, GSuite, Asana, Slack, HubSpot
  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable managing change and ambiguity
