Meet Yasmine Davis – a foodie, hosting lover, and creator behind @eatswithyasmine, Yasmine brings her signature creativity to every gathering she hosts. From playful tablescapes to interactive desserts, she’s all about making people feel welcome, inspired, and excited to connect. Her approach is simple: plan with intention, host with heart, and always leave a little room for magic.

Q: When planning a gathering in your home, where do you start?

I always start with a theme, and from there I can build what I would like the menu and decorations to be. This is the perfect opportunity to let my creativity shine!

Q: What are your go-to ways to break the ice or entertain guests?

I love having name tags and placing those who do not know each other next to each other to make new friends! It’s the best way to have an icebreaker and have guests introduce themselves to someone new.

Q: If you had a limited budget to put together a small dinner party, what would you focus on for the tablescape?

A brown paper table cover is the best way to have a creative and affordable table setting. You can paint on it or draw and be creative with it.

Q: What makes a great gathering memorable?

I think it’s the guests that make it super memorable. I also love having something that gives the guests a chance to photograph or video, like a fun drink or dish, or the tablescaping.

Q: If someone is feeling overwhelmed by hosting, what tips would you give them?

Plan! Plan! Plan! Prepping and planning is the best way to not feel overwhelmed on the day of.

Q: What’s your signature recipe to serve when hosting?

Vodka pasta, chicken parm, and kale Caesar!

Q: What is your favorite Partytrick?

I love an interactive dessert as the final hurrah! Serving mousse or apple crumble per guest in fancy glasses—or torching or ice cream.

Q: What is the most memorable party or gathering you’ve attended or hosted?

I loved my Galentine’s a couple of years ago when I had a flower booth for everyone to make their own bouquets.

Q: What are your favorite products or brands to use when hosting?

Too many to think of! Anthropologie is usually my go-to for tablescaping. Hedley & Bennett when prepping. Brightland Olive Oils always!
