Spiked Coffee
- Serve coffee from a carafe (warm) or pitcher (cold) with alcohol options in glass milk bottles.
- Optional toppings can be in additional glass bottles or ramekins (depending on the type).
- Drinking glasses should either be coffee mugs or water type glasses.
INGREDIENTS TO 10-12 SERVINGS
- COFFEE!
- Cold weather alcoholic options:
- ~Whiskey (can be cinnamon)
- ~Spiced Rum
- ~Cinnamon schnapps
- ~Peppermint schnapps
- ~Amaretto
- ~Rum + Butter Extract
- Hot weather alcoholic options:
- Cointreau
- ~Coffee liqueur
- ~Bailey’s Irish Cream
- ~Hazelnut Liqueur
- Optional toppings: whipped cream, cinnamon, almond milk, cream
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Brew coffee according to your preferences.
- Place in a carafe or pitcher and arrange alongside the various optional additions.
Bloody Mary Bar
- Serve components from glass bottles and provide skewers for garnish.
- Certain garnish, like olives, may need little ramekins or bowls with spoons.
- The rimming salt will need its own station (bowl for agave, bowl for seasonings).
- Collins glasses or any cocktail glasses are perfect for serving.
- Prepare fully in advance, but ensure the mix is chilling at least 2 hours before event.
INGREDIENTS FOR 8 SERVINGS
- Rim
- ~4 tablespoons kosher salt
- ~4 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- ~Agave nectar
- 48 ounces tomato juice
- 12 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces pickle juice
- 6 teaspoons horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon tabasco (plus more for serving)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Traditional garnishes (optional)
- ~Olives or cornichons
- ~Celery
- ~Fresh herbs like dill, basil and parsley
- ~Pickles
- ~Cheese cubes
- “Over-the-top” toppings (optional)
- ~Mini pizza slices or bagel bites
- ~Candied bacon
- ~Jalapeno poppers
- ~Onion rings
- ~Mini sliders or grilled cheese
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a shallow bowl, stir together Old Bay and salt.
- Dip the rim of each glass in agave, until the edge is just submerged. Then, rim in salt/Old Bay mixture until rim is well-coated.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients (you may have to do this in a few batches depending on the size of your cocktail shaker).
- Shake vigorously for 15 seconds, then pour into glass with more ice.
- Assemble garnishes on a skewer and serve any way you'd like.
Mimosa Bar
This is another “choose your own adventure!”
- We love glass bottles for all the different juices and serving champagne directly from the bottle (bonus points if it’s served from a standing champagne chiller).
- The accoutrements can be served from small ramekins with spoons, if necessary.
- Prepare juices and ramekins in advance and seran wrap before cooling (at least 2 hours before the event begins).
INGREDIENTS FOR 6 SERVINGS
- Champagne or sparkling wine
- Juices like orange, grapefruit, raspberry lemonade, pomegranate and pineapple
- Traditional toppings (optional)
- ~Fresh fruit, like raspberries, cranberries, lemon wedges, orange slices or mango
- ~Rosemary, thyme, mint or lavender sprigs
- “Over-the-top” toppings (optional)
- ~Sugared or sprinkled rims
- ~Rock candy
- ~Scoop of ice cream sherbet or sorbet
- ~Grapefruit juice infused strawberries (let them sit for a few hours)
- ~Rosewater
INSTRUCTIONS
- Allow your guests to create their own cocktails!
- Easy. Does. It. It is boozy brunch time, after all.
Donuts & Coffee Cocktail
- Serve into martini glasses.
- Prepare liqueur mixture in advance and chill.
- Prepare the rims on the day of the event and pour to order.
INGREDIENTS FOR 6 SERVINGS
- 12 ounces cinnamon whisky
- 12 ounces cold brew coffee
- 6 ounces Irish cream liqueur
- 3 ounces butterscotch liqueur
- Cinnamon-sugar, for garnish
- Honey or simple syrup, for garnish
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Dip the rim of a martini glass in simple syrup or honey and then immediately into cinnamon-sugar. Set aside.
- Add cinnamon whisky, cold brew coffee, Irish liqueur, and butterscotch liqueur to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake until well combined and chilled.
- Strain into prepared martini glass.
Morning Mule
- Serve into Moscow mule glasses or any cocktail glass.
- Prepare cocktails to order to avoid the ginger beer going flat.
INGREDIENTS FOR 6 SERVINGS
- Ice
- 4 ½ ounces vodka
- 1 ½ cups orange juice
- 1 ½ cups ginger beer
- Lime slices
- Orange slices
INSTRUCTIONS
- Fill the glass with ice and add the vodka.
- Pour the orange juice and ginger beer and stir to combine.
- Garnish with lime wedge and orange slice.
- Repeat the process for each cocktail.
Time to brunch. It is a verb these days, you know.
